Our Charity Program
The Buzzards have donated to various charitable organizations, as an active service club in our community.
Our official charity program started in 2006 with a suggestion from Dave Bell, to auction a plane he built and give the proceeds to the Children's Hospital. The club voted on and passed a motion to have an annual event.
We have donated to the Children's Hospital, The Veterans Affairs (VA), Special Olympics Program, Hopelink (DuVall food bank), and Sky Valley Food Bank (Monroe Food Bank). Over the past Fifteen years, we have donated $14,071.

2008 Donation to Veterians Affairs
Buzzards Charity organizer for 2008, Jim Reynolds (left), Jeff Honeycutt (VA Director) and Club President, Chet Blake (right) present the $1000.00 check to the VA. The VA sent a letter of thanks. We had lots of fun at the charity auction and the VA had a strong showing at our club Open House Event, at which check was given to the VA. BBMAC also donated $1000.00 to HopeLink in DuVall and $1000.00 to Seattle's Children's Hospital Guild.
